Screenings for Kindergarten, 3rd, 7th and 10th Grades

State mandated screens to be completed within 60 business days of the opening of school.

• Vision*
• Speech and Language* (KG through 3rd grades only)
• Fine and Gross Motor*  (KG through 3rd grades only)

*State mandated screens include all new students to Waynesboro Public Schools.

In conjunction with Augusta Heallth and the Central Shenandoah Health Department,

• Body Mass Index (BMI) - Your child's student handbook, school nurse or front office will have more information regarding BMI.  If you choose to have your child "opt out" of the BMI screen, you must complete and return the opt-out form to the school nurse by September 7th.
