Answers
1)  Q What is the age requirement for preschool?
A
Children must reach their 4th birthday on or before September 30th. Occasionally our regional Headstart program accepts three year old children if they qualify and space allows. Interested parents of three year olds should fill out an application as this gets the child's information in the Headstart system.
2)  Q What do I need to register my child?
A
You need to bring your child's Birth Certificate, Social Security Card (optional), and recent income verification. Before your child can begin school, you must provide proof of address and a current physical and Immunization forms.
3)  Q Where can I get an application for preschool?
A
Each Waynesboro Elementary School has applications available. You can also download an application from the Document Manager on this web page and take it to the Wayne Hill Center with your support documents. We will accept applications at any time, but for the earliest review, the application needs to be submitted by March 23, 2012. Applications received after June 1, 2012 will be reviewed in August, so turn them in early!
4)  Q What is the difference between Head Start, Title One, and VPI PreSchool Programs?
