Roadrunner Road Race Newsletters:

I need to publicly thank Amy Mumbauer and Wray Sherman! They were such a HUGE help in getting the Road Race organized and off the ground. I could never have done it with out them!

Also, thank you to all the teachers and staff who came through to help volunteer and make today just a thrilling event. We got nothing but compliments on the day!  There were 96 registered runners/walkers and about 60 kids running the 1K. WOW!

WOW! Thanks to everyone for a wonderful event this morning! First off, thanks to Danny Lee who was the brains behind this whole thing...I'm so glad he asked me to tag along with this great idea for a school event. He was an awesome leader throughout this whole process and was the reason this actually happened!

Like Danny mentioned, Amy Mumbauer and Wray Sherman were such amazing help and brought so much to the table. They were great to work with along the way. We are lucky to have parents like them at our school! To all of the teachers and staff that volunteered or ran today, thank you all for your support. Today went so well because of the volunteers that we had. You are each reasons why I love being a teacher at this WONDERFUL school! Today was a blast...can't wait to see it happen again next year.

Our 2nd Annual Race-May 18th

I cannot thank everyone enough for all the team support for today's race. Everyone's help was so appreciated. This staff always jumps in and helps out. It was a day to celebrate our kids and families and everyone seemed to have great time even though the skies were dreary. Everything went smoothly and the rain even held off until the last of the prizes were given out. If you helped out and didn't get your T-Shirt, I have them.
We won't have totals for a few days, but with nearly all our up-front expenses covered by our generous donors, it should be a good number.

We had about 85 runners/walkers and about 50 kids in the Fun Run.

Please plan to join us either as a volunteer or a racer.
